NAME: Tee Nuts
DESCRIPTIONS: Tee Nuts, also known a T Nuts are available in steel with a zinc finish in 3, 4 or 6 prong styles. Featuring prongs to hold them in place in wood or plastic products, tee nuts offer internally threaded barrels which accept screws or bolts to attach items to a surface when inserted into the back end.Internally threaded barrel-shaped fasteners integrally formed with a flat base, which has prong-type projections extending perpendicular from the base aside the barrel.
Application: Used for fastening metal to products made of wood, particle board or plastic. Four prong tee-nuts can be used in hard or soft woods.
